FAQ
Answers on Interac e-Transfer payment, shipping across Canada, storage handling, COAs and returns.
Ordering
Do I need to be a researcher or have an institutional affiliation to order?
No. We ask everyone to confirm they're 18 or older and ordering for legitimate research purposes, but we don't require a lab affiliation or institutional email to check out.
Can I change or cancel my order after I've placed it?
Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped yet. Email us with your order reference code and we'll adjust or cancel it before it moves to dispatch. Once a tracking number has been generated, we treat it as a return rather than a cancellation.
How do I know my order went through?
You'll get an order confirmation email with your order reference code immediately, and a second email once your Interac e-Transfer has been matched and the order moves to processing.
Payment (Interac e-Transfer)
Why do you only accept Interac e-Transfer?
It's fast, secure, and keeps our overhead — and your prices — lower than card processing would. Funds settle directly, there's no chargeback exposure, and Autodeposit means most transfers land within minutes.
How does payment actually work?
At checkout you'll receive a unique order reference code. Send your Interac e-Transfer for the order total and put that reference code in the message field. Your order is held, unprocessed, until we've matched the transfer to your order.
How long do you hold my order for payment?
We hold orders for 24 hours awaiting e-Transfer. If payment hasn't arrived by then, the order is automatically cancelled and any reserved stock is released.
What if I forget to include the reference code?
Email us the sender name and approximate transfer amount and we'll track it down. It just may take a little longer to match to your order.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in Canada, via Canada Post. We don't currently ship outside Canada.
How fast will my order arrive?
Orders with cleared payment received before 2:00 PM ET ship the same business day. Standard transit is 1–3 business days across Canada once your package is in Canada Post's hands.
Is shipping free?
Orders over $200 CAD ship free. Below that, a flat shipping rate applies at checkout.
Will my package be discreet?
Yes. Outer packaging carries no product names or branding beyond a standard return address.
Storage & Handling
How should I store lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides before reconstitution?
As a general lab-handling guideline, lyophilized peptides are relatively stable at room temperature for short periods but should be moved to refrigerated storage (roughly 2–8°C) as soon as practical after receipt, and kept away from light and humidity. For longer-term storage, freezing is often preferred. This is general handling information only, not usage or dosing guidance.
What's the general approach to reconstituting a peptide with bacteriostatic water?
At a general laboratory level, reconstitution involves adding bacteriostatic (BAC) water to a lyophilized vial slowly, along the inside wall of the vial rather than directly onto the powder, to minimize agitation, and allowing the vial to sit until the contents dissolve without vigorous shaking. Exact volumes and procedures depend on your own research protocol and equipment — we don't provide dosing or administration instructions, and any reconstitution should follow your institution's or lab's own standard operating procedures.
Once reconstituted, how should a peptide solution be stored, and for how long?
Reconstituted solutions are generally kept refrigerated (roughly 2–8°C) and used within the timeframe supported by your own stability testing or protocol. We don't publish a universal shelf-life figure, since it depends on the specific compound, concentration, and storage conditions in your lab.
Quality & COAs
How do you verify purity?
Each batch is tested by an independent third-party lab using HPLC (and, where applicable, mass spectrometry) to confirm identity and purity before it's listed for sale.
Where can I find the Certificate of Analysis for my order?
Every product page links to its current batch's COA, and our Lab Results page lists COAs by product and batch code. Your packing slip includes the batch code for your specific order so you can match it to the right certificate.
What does the batch code on my vial mean?
It's a unique identifier tying your physical vial back to the specific manufacturing run and COA on file for that batch — so you can verify exactly what you received, not just what we say we sell.
Returns
Can I return a product if I change my mind?
Unopened, sealed products in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Once a vial's seal has been broken, we can't accept it back for safety and integrity reasons.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order reference code, and we'll sort out a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Compliance
Is it legal to purchase research peptides in Canada?
Peptides sold strictly for laboratory research use occupy a different regulatory category than approved drugs or supplements. We sell exclusively for research purposes and make no claims about legality for any other use — you're responsible for understanding how the products you order may be regulated in your specific context.
Can I use these products on myself or an animal?
No. Everything we sell is labelled and sold for laboratory and research use only. We don't support, advise on, or provide instructions for human or animal use, and nothing on this site should be interpreted as dosing or administration guidance.
