Product description

BAC Water is a sterile, multi-dose laboratory diluent containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, specifically engineered for the dissolution, solubilization, and reconstitution of lyophilized peptide powders and chemical reagents. The addition of 0.9% benzyl alcohol acts as a bacteriostatic preservative, suppressing microbial growth and maintaining solution stability for multi-access laboratory sampling.

Primary research focus

  • Bacteriostatic Preservation

Formulated with 0.9% benzyl alcohol to inhibit microbial proliferation for up to 28 days post-initial septum access.

  • Lyophilized Compound Solubilization

Engineered with an optimized pH range to rapidly dissolve freeze-dried peptide cakes without degrading delicate peptide bonds.

  • Analytical Sample Preparation

Serves as a standardized liquid medium for multi-dose in-vitro testing and laboratory reagent preparation.

Storage

As a general lab-handling guideline, lyophilized peptides are relatively stable at room temperature for short periods but should be moved to refrigerated storage (roughly 2–8°C) as soon as practical after receipt, and kept away from light and humidity. For longer-term storage, freezing is often preferred. This is general handling information only, not usage or dosing guidance.
